What a privilege one should have as a MBA aspirant than to interact with a young professional who works for UNICEF? Yes, MBA Batch 16 of Lourdes Matha Institute of Management Studies did enjoy a cool interaction session with the Risk and Emergency Consultant at UNICEF Ms.Rohini S. Swaminathan on 22 February 2021, the first day of their regular classes. The class of 56 students had almost 30 plus questions shot at Ms. Rohini and was gladly answering them all. For Rohini to interact with young minds is like an energy booster as she inspires them she gets inspired. The one hour and thirty minutes long interaction revolved around her career path, her strong decisions despite being criticized by others, willingness and openness to explore opportunities, hard and determined efforts to excel, loving and enjoying nature especially the forest around her home, reading an average of 30 to forty books a year, following only what she is passionate about and dumping things that don’t interest her, etc. Above all her volunteering and service oriented life that fetched her life desires. She is a passionate traveler and avid reader. Amidst all this she finds to improve her qualifications based on the latest requirements in the career world.#lmims #mba #unicef #disasterresponse
