LMCST, managed by the Catholic Archdiocese of Chenganassery, is led by Fr. Bejoy Arackal was the Head of the Department of Oriental Languages at the renowned Mar Gregorios College, Alappuzha.
The green ecofriendly campus of LMCST is spread over 25 acres at Kuttichal, a scenic location with the picturesque lushgreenery in the backdrop of misty Western Ghats, in the outskirts of Trivandrum. LIMS (Lourdes Matha Institute of Management Studies) is the management department of LMCST and has been offering management courses since 2004, having graduated 15 batches till date. Most of the alumni are working in leading positions in various corporates in India.
To strengthen its position further and to achieve its stated vision, LIMS has entered into an academic collaboration with XIME, Bangalore,rated among the top 1% Business Schools in the country. Prof. Philip, recognized as the “Doyen of Management Education” in Karnataka by The Hindu, is the Principal Founder of XIME. Its illustrious alumni occupy leadership positions in organizationslike Infosys, TCS, Wipro, KPMG, JP Morgan etc.Prof. J.Philip is the Chief Mentor to LIMS and also will teach at LIMS. A number of faculty from XIME will be involved in taking courses at LIMS and the entire program will be managed by the leadership from XIME. Dr. J. Alexander, IAS (Retd.), former Chief Secretary and Cabinet Minister of Karnataka state, is the Chairman of LIMS.
This collaboration brings with it enhanced program delivery apart from a new focus on soft skills to make the students employable. It will leverage XIME Bangalore’s corporate connect to bring in better industry linkage and placement opportunities to LIMS graduates.
